Fava Bean
- 2 cups dried fava beans (previously soaked)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt
- 4 cups water

Soak the dried fava beans in water overnight and boil
them until they are softened the next day.
- Drain the boiled fava beans and set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a pot, add the chopped
onion, and sauté until the onions are golden brown.

Add the boiled fava beans to the pot, stir, and cook
for a few more minutes.
- Add salt and water, stir, and bring to a boil.

Once it boils, simmer until the water is absorbed.
- Then let the pot rest on low heat.

After resting, stir, transfer to a serving plate, and
optionally garnish with fresh greens before serving
hot.
