Chickpeas
- 1 cup chickpeas (previously soaked)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 4 cups water

Soak the chickpeas in water overnight and boil them
until they soften the next day.
- Drain the boiled chickpeas and set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot, add chopped onions, and
sauté until onions are golden brown.

Add the boiled chickpeas to the pot, along with salt,
black pepper, and water. Stir and bring to a boil.

Once it boils, simmer until the water is absorbed.
Then, cover the pot, let it rest for a while, and
serve.
